Over the years I've tried A LOT of different things for writing. One month it was 10 minutes a day, essentially getting me to start, which frequently led to more time. Another month it was scheduling writing at different times in the day and different locations around my home as an experiment to see when and where I felt most productive. I also love having accountability partners where we regularly Zoom, set goals, turn off video & audio while working, then check-in at the end. And, depending on the season in my life, sometimes habits that have worked stop working, so having the awareness, willingness to try something else, and being flexible about it is key.
